Blackpool Sandcastle Waterpark

Blackpool Sandcastle Waterpark is the home to the world's longest indoor rollercoaster waterslide, and that's not all. In fact the Blackpool Sandcastle Waterpark has other attractions including the Sidewinder, Monkey Island, The Duelling Dragons, Ushi-Cushi River Creek and Typhoon Lagoon. Overall there are 18 slides and attractions. You really could spend a whole day in this Blackpool attraction. Height restrictions may apply on some rides.

The Master Blaster and Side Winder cost a little extra if you want to ride them. By buying a wrist band on entry to the water park for bit extra is worth it although you may spend a bit of extra time queuing for these rides, although you will find that in any theme park on the most popular rides.

The Masterblaster 'The ultimate white knuckle rollercoaster waterslide' is over 250 meters long. As you ride along you get 'boosted' to speed you up at certain intervals along the route so be prepared to hold on to your swim ware. The slide even takes to outside the main building and back in but you may not even notice this happen although it's clear to see from the front of the building.

The Sidewinder is not for anyone scared of heights. Riders drop down the side of a steep ravine. Looking down when you get to the front of the queue can be quite scary and some of the children back out at this point. Be prepared! Your first go on this ride will give you butterflies in your stomach when you drop over the edge.

Opening times vary depending on the time of season but generally open between 10:00 AM until 4:30 PM (Longer hours during peak times)

Admision prices start from £10.85 per adult (over 14), £8.85 for children (aged 6 - 14) and £6.85 (aged 2-5). Hyperzone is extra.
