This year the Blackpool Illuminations will be on display from 4th September - 8th November. As soon as we have the information as to who will switch on the lights on this year will will let you know, but make sure you put a date in your diary for the switch on night. The free open air concert is an anual event and attracts tens of thousands of people each year. Last year the Top Gear Team switched on the lights following a free concert that included Scouting for Girls, Boyzone and David Jordan. Previous entertainers who have switched on the lights can be found on our Roll of Honor page.
